Dampak Literasi Digital Terhadap Character Building (Studi MA Nurul Wathan Pasar Kembang)

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of digital literacy on students’ character building. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population of this study consisted of all students, while the sample was taken from one class, namely the third-grade students. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. Digital literacy was used as the independent variable, while character building was the dependent variable. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression analysis, preceded by instrument testing and classical assumption tests. The results of the study indicate that digital literacy has a positive and significant effect on students’ character building. The t-test results show that the calculated t-value is greater than the t-table value, indicating that the research hypothesis is accepted. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.76, which means that digital literacy contributes 76% to students’ character building, while the remaining 24% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
