Peran Budaya Organisasi Terhadap Peningkatan Kinerja Aparatur Desa Sumber Jaya Kecamatan Teluk Belengkong

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of organizational culture in improving the performance of apparatus in the Sumber Jaya Village Office, Teluk Belengkong District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The success of village government organizations is greatly influenced by the quality of human resources supported by strong values, norms, and work culture. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative design to test the relationship between organizational culture as an independent variable and apparatus performance as a dependent variable. The research population includes all village apparatus which is sampled through saturated sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire based on the Likert scale, and supported by observation and documentation. Data analysis uses simple linear regression to determine the influence of organizational culture on the performance of village officials. The results of the study showed that organizational culture was in the high category with an average score of 4.01, while the performance of village officials was also in the high category with an average score of 3.85. Organizational culture has been proven to have a positive and significant effect on the performance of village officials. Team orientation indicators are the dominant factor in improving performance, while weaknesses in the discipline aspect have an impact on low service punctuality. Thus, strengthening organizational culture, especially in terms of discipline and innovation, is needed to increase the effectiveness of public services at the village level.
