Aims & Scope
Journal of Education and Culture (JEC) is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research papers, theoretical and empirical articles, and critical reviews in the fields of education, teaching and learning, culture, philosophy, humanities, and language studies. The journal aims to provide a platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policy-makers to share their innovative research and critical perspectives, and to engage in the development of education, culture, and humanities.
JEC welcomes original and unpublished papers that focus on the following topics, but not limited to:
- Innovative teaching and learning practices.
- Educational policies and practices.
- Multicultural and multilingual education.
- Teacher education and professional development.
- Educational psychology and counseling.
- Curriculum development and assessment.
- Philosophy of education.
- History of education.
- Literature and cultural studies.
- Linguistics and language studies.
JEC is an open-access journal, which means that all articles are available to readers free of charge. The journal is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license, which allows others to share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes as long as proper attribution is given and the same license is used for any derivative works.
JEC publishes three issues in a year, in February, June, and October. All articles published in JEC undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality and validity of the research presented.
