Minat Siswa Tahfiz Dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani: Studi Kasus Di SMP Mahad Tahfiz Hayatul Quran Pulau Palas

Abstract

This study aims to find out the interest of tahfiz students in physical education learning, a case study at SMP Mahad Tahfiz Hayatul Qur’an Pulau Palas. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, which is a research approach that aims to describe the characteristics of a population, situation, or phenomenon systematically and accurately, using numerical data. The population in this study is all first-grade students at SMP Mahad Tahfiz Hayatul Quran Pulau Palas, totaling 25 people. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling, with a total of 25 participants. The data for this study were collected through questionnaires or Likert-scale surveys regarding tahfiz students' interest in physical education learning in the case study at SMP Mahad Tahfiz Hayatul Quran Pulau Palas. Based on the analysis, tahfiz students' interest in physical education at SMP Mahad Tahfiz Hayatul Quran Pulau Palas for intrinsic factors had an average percentage of 75.24%, and for extrinsic factors, an average percentage of 67.96%, so overall it falls into the high category with a total average percentage of 71.6%.
